Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man swings into Magic: The Gathering, and not a moment too soon! Gather web-slingers from across the Spider-Verse and team up to take down the sinister foes that threaten the city. Keep your Spider-Senses primed to spot Borderless treatments that leap right off the page!

Prerelease is your players' first opportunity to get their hands on the newest Magic: The Gathering release and explore what the set has to offer. Prerelease Packs contain everything a player needs to be guided through deckbuilding and begin facing off in epic one-on-one matches.

Usually players come together and join a prerelease in store. We understand that doesn't work for everyone. For those who can't make it out to one of those events, we offer "Prerelease at home"!

Get together with some friends, or play someone over webcam*, this is your chance to enjoy the prerelease however you want, whenever you want.

Are there prizes for this event? Absolutely! Players who register for the event in the Magic Companion App, will receive an 2 additional Spider-Man Play Boosters. Registration in the app must occur prior to picking up their prerelease kit, or before Thursday September 25th. (Which ever comes first)

Prerelease at Home Kits can be picked up in store starting 11am Friday September 19th, 2025

Prerelease Kits (whether instore or at home) contain:

• 6 Marvel's Spider-Man Play Boosters
• 1 Traditional Foil Rare/Mythic with a year stamp
• Spindown life counter

Play Boosters may contain these cards:

SPM 1–231; MAR 1–40. Includes 1–4 cards of rarity Rare or higher (2: 31%; 3: 3%; 4: <1%), and 3–5 Uncommon, 6–9 Common, and 1 Land cards. 1 card of any rarity is Traditional Foil. Foil Showcase Mythic Rare in <1% of boosters. Traditional Foil Land replaces a Land in 20% of boosters.
