Master the Four Elements Avatar the Last Airbender League Week 1 Nov 27

Description

Join us for casual league play using decks built out of Avatar the Last Airbender booster packs! Play in the store on Thursdays and throughout the following week.

League runs from November 27th - December 24th.

Players will receive six Magic: The Gathering Avatar: The Last Airbender Play Boosters as well as their first emblem and build a 40-card sealed deck to play against other players during the league.

Players select one of four emblems—Air, Water, Earth, or Fire when they receive their initial 6 play boosters. Emblems grant players unique benefits during games, each game players may use one of their emblems. (An emblem must be used in a game to have your opponent sign the back of it, each emblem has room for 3 signatures and must be filled for all 4 emblems to receive the limited edition print prize)

After completing an emblem players may return to purchase an additional Play Booster to expand their sealed pool. When they do, they also select an additional emblem.

Only 1 emblem may be used in each game.

The last league meet up will be Thursday December 18th and all games must be played and emblems handed in by 3pm Wednesday December 24th in order to receive any league prizing.

Players wishing to join the league after the first week can sign-up in store. 

League Deck Construction:

You can use as many basic lands as you need to make a minimum 40 card deck. A 40 card deck should include about 23 spells (15-18 creatures) and about 17 Basic Lands.

How the league works:

• Play best of 1 matches.
• Each player gets one free mulligan.
• Play any other league participants during the course of the league.
• Try not to play the same person twice in a row.
• All games must be played in store against other active league members.
  

We recommend you come out for Thursday League meetup from 6-9pm but games do not have to be played during the meetup. You can arrange to connect with players on other days/times through our Discord! You can play any time there are tables available in store. As long as emblems are completed by the end of the league that is fine. 

Emblems must be turned in no later than 3pm on Wednesday, December 24th.

Prizing:

At the end of each match, players ask their opponents to sign the back of their emblem card that they used in that game. Once a player has collected all four emblems, and each emblem has three signatures on the back, they can present them to the store to receive the foil art print reward. (The first 16 players to hand in their completed set of 4 emblems will receive the print)
