Mastermind mage Jace Beleren has pushed reality to its breaking point. An alternate Multiverse of his own creation threatens to overtake the current one, and just one brave team of heroes stands in the path of oblivion. Be on the lookout for twisted new reflections of Magic legends as you explore Jace's Echoverse and his inner sanctum within the dystopian school of Hexhaven.

Prerelease is a great opportunity to get your hands on the newest Magic: The Gathering release and explore what the set has to offer. Prerelease Packs contain everything a player needs to be guided through deckbuilding and begin facing off in epic one-on-one matches.

After a brief player meeting, each player will receive a prerelease kit. Players will have up to 60 minutes to open their prerelease kit and build a minimum 40-card deck from what they open and as many basic lands as they need (we have plenty on hand for players to use).

Following deck building, each player will participate in 3 Swiss rounds, which means that each round, players will be paired against another player of similar record for best 2 out of 3 matches. 

What is the prizing for a prerelease event?
Each player will receive an additional 2 Magic: Reality Fracture Play Boosters when they finish the event, regardless of their standing.

How long does a prerelease last?
Most prereleases will last about 4 hours including deck building and playing your games. Players are able to drop from the event at any time and will still receive their 2 packs of prizing.

What's in a prerelease kit?

• 1 traditional foil rare/mythic rare card
• Spindown™ life counter

Event Attendance Policy:

We kindly ask that you arrive at the store no later than 5 minutes before the tournament's start time. This is to ensure all players are registered in a timely manner and that play can begin at its scheduled time. Players who arrive late without notifying the store at least 30 minutes ahead of time may be subject to round losses. 

If you are unable to attend the event, please notify us within 24-hours of its start time. We are happy to refund your ticket to store credit for use on future purchases. Outside of this timeframe, refunds to store credit may be provided at our discretion but are not guaranteed.
