This event is hosting 24 players.
A GEM account is required for this event. You will be asked to provide your player id and which hero you are using at time of check-in.
Decklists are required for this event. To save paper, decklists can be uploaded to GEM. Steps to create and upload decks can be found HERE
Late (after the player meeting has started) decklists will receive the appropriate penalties applied to your first round match.
Format: Silver Age
Each game of a match follows the same procedure:
Each player reveals their hero card. Choose a player at random, and then that player decides who will go first. Each player chooses the equipment, weapon(s), and 40-card deck they will use for this game (chosen from their 55 card-pool). Each player shuffles and presents their deck to the opponent, who may shuffle and/or cut. Each player reveals the weapon(s) and equipment they have chosen for this game, draws cards up to their hero’s intellect, and the first player begins the first turn of the game.
The match ends when one player has won the required number of games for the match (usually 1 game win).
If the round time expires, and a winner of the current game is yet to be determined, the turn player completes their turn and then 1 additional turn is played. At the conclusion of the additional turn, if a winner of the game has not been determined, the current game is a draw.
Deck building rules:
1 young hero card
55 card-pool (includes weapons, equipment, and cards in the deck)
Only common, rare, and basic rarity cards (including hero cards)
Start with exactly 40 cards in the deck
Up to 2 copies of each unique card

11:50 - Player Meeting
12 - Round 1
12:35* - Round 2
1:10* - Round 3
If there are 8 players, the event will be 3 rounds with no cut (the tournament will not happen if we have fewer than 8 players)
9-16 players will have 4 rounds followed by a cut to Top 4 with the times as follows:
1:45* - Round 4
2:30** - Top 4
3:30** - Finals
*If rounds end early, we may start the new round early. If you're going off-site, please advise event-staff so they can contact you when a new round is starting.
**Rounds after the top cut will be untimed, though players will still be expected to play at a regular pace.
Prizing -
Winner:
1 x Marvel Promo
1x Playmat (which ever one we get)
Top 8:
1x Premium Promo*
*For Skirmish, the eight Premium promos are awarded to the highest-placed player for each of the top eight unique heroes in the final Swiss standings. They are not awarded based on Top 8 player placement.
For example, if the players who placed 1st and 2nd after the last round of Swiss are both playing Bravo, only the player who came 1st will get the promo. Distribution then continues down the standings, awarding each remaining promo to the next highest-placed players using a unique hero. Heroes are considered different if their full name is different (Bravo and Bravo, Flattering Showman are different heroes for determining unique heroes).
Participation Prizing:
Each player also receives a GEM Pack 6
Random Door Prize Draws (at the conclusion of Swiss rounds): (Door prizes cannot be won by Winner of event or recipient of the other door prize)
1x Playmat (which ever one we get)
1x Premium Promo
