Welcome to Week 2 of Shadows of Sithicus, a play series for the Season of Horror and part of the D&D Encounters program.
Join us for the second adventure in the mists of Ravenloft as we celebrate the release of the newest book Ravenloft: The Horrors Within.
If you participated in the Grave Awakenings Celebration Event on June 10th and would like to use the same character, please advance them to level 4 if you have not done so already. If you did not attend the Celebration Event or would like to use a new character, please bring a level 4 character created using the 2024 Player's Handbook and Ravenloft: The Horrors Within.
Week 2: Death in Darkon
An adventure for level 4 characters set in the domain of Darkon.
A secret police force called the Kargat operates within the Dread Domain of Darkon. Members of the Kargatane follow the orders of their immediate superiors without question. In a stronghold beneath the city of Martira Bay, one of those superiors has undergone a terrible transformation. Jocast Troob was a Kargatane operative with great ambition. The second shadow raven turned a willing Troob into a vampire mind flayer. Now, under the pretense of Kargat activities, Troob has her minions capturing innocent folks and turning them into vampires.
