Avatar The Last Airbender Prerelease Wednesday November 19 @6PM

Team Avatar is back! The action, adventure, and spirit of Avatar: The Last Airbender awaken in Magic: The Gathering. Master new mechanics Earthbending, Airbending, Waterbending and Firebending to tell your version of the story and discover your Magic playstyle. Bend the elements. Master the game.

Prerelease is your players' first opportunity to experience the story and strategy of Magic: The Gathering | Avatar: The Last Airbender. Each Prerelease Pack invites players to join Aang, Katara, Zuko, Toph, or Azula and explore their elemental identity through Magic gameplay. Including a seeded booster pack for each character, players will build a deck and begin their journey to master the elements.

For those new to prerelease, following a brief player meeting, each player will receive a prerelease kit. Players will have up to 60 minutes to open their prerelease kit and build a minimum 40 card deck from what they open and as many basic lands as they need (we have plenty on hand for players to use).

Following deck building, each player will participate in 3 "Swiss rounds"- each round players will be paired against another player of similar record for best 2 out of 3 matches. 

Prizing: Each player will receive an additional 2 Avatar The Last Airbender Play Boosters when they finish the event. 

How Long does a prerelease last? Most prereleases will last about 4 hours including deck building and playing your games. Players are able to drop from the event at any time and will still receive their 2 packs of prizing.

Choose one of five seeded Prerelease Packs and begin your journey with Magic: The Gathering | Avatar: The Last Airbender. Each Prerelease Pack contains the following:

• 5 Magic: The Gathering | Avatar: The Last Airbender Play Boosters
• 1 Seeded Magic: The Gathering | Avatar: The Last Airbender Character Booster
  • Each Character Booster is themed around a different Avatar: The Last Airbender character and a color of Magic.
• 2 Non-foil double-sided tokens themed to your Prerelease Pack's color
• 1 Traditional foil year-stamped rare or mythic rare
• 1 Spindown die themed to your Prerelease Pack's color
