Sunday December 14th we continue Expeditions with the module Defiance in Phlan (DDEX1-1).
“The Cult of the Dragon has come to Phlan, a lawless refuge on the Moonsea. Now, with no significant authority to stop the cult, other power groups in the Realms — the Harpers, Order of the Gauntlet, Emerald Enclave, Lords’ Alliance, and even the Zhentarim — must unite to stop the cult from fulfilling its dark purpose in the city.” – Wizards of the Coast
New players are always welcome, and sample characters are available to get you right into the action.
Existing D&D Adventure League characters of 1st to 4th level are welcome to participate provided that the character has not already played through this module (Note: You can play through a module you have previously played as many times as you want, you just can’t use the same character to do so). As a reminder make sure to have your Adventure League Tracking Sheets present and all up to date for any existing character you wish to use.
What is Adventure League?
Adventure League is the official Wizards of the Coast organized play system for Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition. Adventure League allows you to use the same character in any sanctioned Adventure League game. You can even have your characters from your home game be available for Adventure League in certain cases.
All you need is a DCI membership number (available free in store) and an Adventure League Tracking Sheet for your character (available online or in store). Simply track each session your character plays in and as your character levels up they will gain access to participate in ever more epic adventures.
Adventure League has three tiers of play:
- Encounters: Designed for characters levels 1-4
- Expeditions: Designed for characters level 5 and up
- Epics: Special events at large conventions like GenCon
